The McMurry University Bass Club was founded in the spring of 2012.  The mission of the McMurry University Bass Club is to fish competetively on a National Level and teach people how to fish who may not have as much experience.   In the Bass Club's second year, they were able to compete at the Cabela's Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship at Lake Pickwick in Florence, Alabama.  After multiple fundraisers and hard work, they were able to represent McMurry and make their presence known. The Bass Club finished 81st out of over 200 clubs in the nation in the Cabela's School of the Year rankings. The Bass Club now has set their sights set on winning that title.  Be on the lookout for the Warhawk Bass Club as they make their way back to Florence, Alabama to compete for the National Title.  Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook or Instagram!
